About Us

The Department of Mathematics came into existence in the year 2014. The department has qualified and devoted faculty members with specializations in pure and applied mathematics. Currently, the department offers M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs. The M.Sc. program is offered in Mathematics and Computing.
It is our goal to become one of the leading department in research and teaching .We strongly promote research collaboration at the local level as well as national and international levels. We warmly invite any query and thank you for visiting us.

NIT Manipur is one of the ten new National Institutes of Technology established by the Government of India in 2010 under the Eleventh Five-Year Plan.
